Bridge projects are engineered one at a time. Girder weight, span, pier geometry, longitudinal slope and curve radius all feed into the machine design, and no product catalogue can answer it. We design, build, test and support launching gantries and beam erection machines around your drawings — including the erection method, which should be decided before the machine is ordered, not after.
| Machine types | Double guide beam, single guide beam, segmental launching gantry |
|---|---|
| Typical capacity / span | 100 t / 30 m · 160 t / 40 m · 200 t / 50 m · 250 t / 50 m |
| Walking method | Hydraulic self-walking (step type) |
| Slope capability | Typically ±3% with standard design; steeper by engineering review |
| Lifting | Mechanical winch or hydraulic frame with synchronised control |
| Power | 380 V / 50 Hz standard; diesel-hydraulic pack for sites without stable power |
| Safety | Overload limiter, anti-overturning, mechanical locks, wind interlock, E-stops |
| Documentation | Design calculations, erection drawings, O&M manual, test report |
| Services | Site supervisor, crew training, first-span launching support |
This is the range we normally supply for this industry. Your offer states the exact capacity, span, lifting height, duty class and voltage for your site — and where a figure here differs from the offer, the offer prevails.
Often yes, within limits. A gantry built for one girder weight and span can usually be modified for a similar bridge, and our joints are designed to allow it. What cannot be stretched is the structural rating: heavier girders or a wider span need an engineering review, not a judgement call on site. Tell us at the design stage if reuse is planned and we will build the flexibility in.
Allow 3–5 months from approved drawings to shipment for a custom gantry, depending on capacity and the amount of special engineering. Design and approval is usually 3–5 weeks of that and depends mostly on how quickly your bridge engineer reviews and returns the drawings. If you have a fixed erection window, tell us the date in the first message.
The machine is assembled at the factory, hydraulic and control systems are commissioned, and the lifting system is load tested — normally to 1.25 times rated load unless your specification says otherwise. The overload limiter is set and demonstrated, synchronised control is checked for deviation, and the walking sequence is tested on temporary track. The test report, photographs and video travel with the shipment.
Workshops, warehouses, assembly and maintenance bays. Light structure, low wheel load, quick to install.
1–20 t · span to 30 mHeavy duty and long spans: steel fabrication, precast yards, smelters, heavy machining shops.
5–100 t · custom spanOutdoor stockyards, precast beds, container and aggregate handling. Hook, grab or C-hook.
3–100 t · rail or tyreTell us the material, the heaviest piece, how many hours a day the crane runs and whether it works indoors or out — we reply within 24 hours.
Crane type, capacity (t), span (m) and lifting height (m) is usually enough for us to quote. Send a photo of your workshop if you are not sure.
