At 10 t the double girder crane is not about lifting more — it is about lifting higher, working harder, and having two hooks on one bridge. If your building is low, if the crane runs all shift, or if your work needs a small fast hook alongside a heavy one, this is the machine. If none of those apply, the single girder version does the same job for less.

The table shows the range we normally supply. Your offer states the exact capacity, span, lifting height, duty class and voltage for your site — and where a figure here differs from the offer, the offer prevails. See the full double girder overhead cranes range →
It is worth it for three specific reasons: you need the extra hook height, you need a second hook, or the crane runs continuously in production. If your shop has normal headroom, one hook is enough and the crane works a few hours a day, take the single girder machine and save the money. Ask us to price both — the comparison usually makes the decision obvious.
Typically 1–2 m compared with a single girder crane of the same capacity and span, depending on the hoist and girder depth. We quote the exact hook approach and clearance envelope on the approval drawing, so you can check it against your building before production starts rather than on the day of installation.
Practically no — a second hoist means a second drum, more reeving, a different trolley frame, more panel capacity and a different structure. It has to be designed in from the start. If you think you may need a small fast hook later, tell us at quotation stage: adding it then is cheap, adding it afterwards is a rebuild.
Workshops, warehouses, assembly and maintenance bays. Light structure, low wheel load, quick to install.
1–20 t · span to 30 mOutdoor stockyards, precast beds, container and aggregate handling. Hook, grab or C-hook.
3–100 t · rail or tyreLaunching gantries and bridge erection machines for road and rail viaduct projects.
Project-engineeredSend the span, lifting height and how many hours a day the crane runs — we reply with a specification and a price within 24 hours.
Crane type, capacity (t), span (m) and lifting height (m) is usually enough for us to quote. Send a photo of your workshop if you are not sure.
