Ten tonnes is the size that covers most industrial lifting without the cost and structure of a double girder machine. It is heavy enough for steel plate, machine beds, moulds, motors and loaded pallets, and still light enough for a building with an ordinary roof structure. Above about 16 t the single girder arrangement starts to lose its advantage — 10 t sits comfortably on the right side of that line.
| Capacity | 10 t (3 t, 5 t, 16 t and 20 t also available in this series) |
|---|---|
| Span | 10.5 m – 25.5 m |
| Lifting height | 6 m – 24 m |
| Duty classification | A4–A5 (FEM 1Am–1Bm) for production work |
| Hoist | CD1 / MD1 10 t wire rope hoist; low-headroom European hoist option |
| Hoisting speed | 7–8 m·min⁻¹, or 0.5–8 m·min⁻¹ stepless with VFD |
| Travel speeds | Bridge 20–30 m·min⁻¹; trolley 20 m·min⁻¹ |
| Power supply | 380 V / 50 Hz 3-phase standard; other voltages and 60 Hz on request |
| Control | Pendant, radio remote, or dual control; VFD optional |
The table shows the range we normally supply. Your offer states the exact capacity, span, lifting height, duty class and voltage for your site — and where a figure here differs from the offer, the offer prevails. See the full single girder overhead cranes range →
Three situations: when the hook must lift close to the roof (a double girder crane puts the hoist on top of the girders and gains 1–2 m of hook height); when the crane will run continuously in production, where the heavier structure and maintenance access pay off; and when you need two hooks on one crane. Otherwise, at 10 t, single girder is usually the better value.
That depends on the hoist and the span, so we quote it as a dimension on the drawing rather than a rule of thumb. Send us the height from the floor to the lowest obstruction above the crane and we will tell you what fits — including whether a low-headroom hoist is needed. This measurement decides more specifications than any other single number.
Yes — 380 V / 50 Hz is our standard and other voltages, frequencies and generator-fed supplies are wound to order. Tell us the site voltage and whether the supply is stable: it changes the panel and drive specification, and it is far cheaper to get right at the factory than to correct on site.
Heavy duty and long spans: steel fabrication, precast yards, smelters, heavy machining shops.
5–100 t · custom spanOutdoor stockyards, precast beds, container and aggregate handling. Hook, grab or C-hook.
3–100 t · rail or tyreLaunching gantries and bridge erection machines for road and rail viaduct projects.
Project-engineeredSend the span, lifting height and how many hours a day the crane runs — we reply with a specification and a price within 24 hours.
Crane type, capacity (t), span (m) and lifting height (m) is usually enough for us to quote. Send a photo of your workshop if you are not sure.
